Despite the availability and high prices of ammo our Range Public Shoots on Sunday and Wednesday are doing well. A motion was made to purchase a second Texas Star after some discussion it was approved by membership. Trap shooting is doing well on Sunday we will be having a trap league in the spring. 5 stand machines will be reopened in the spring. Members wishing to be on Trap Committee contact Paul Help is needed to on the committee We will be receiving a clay target delivery in late March help will be needed to stack the targets in the target shed. Exact date to be announced Members interested in joining the hunting program contact Frank Funaro ASAP as we will be signing our contract with the breeder April 1st. We are still waiting on word from NRA on our Grant Application for range heating. . we have 2 proposals and will be receiving a third shortly. Application has been reviewed by the NRA and submitted to the Ct. Friends of NRA Grant Committee. no date was given for when a decision will be made Welcome to new member Kenneth Paecht Work party will be scheduled for mid-March to remove firewood from the Archery field and general cleanup of club grounds Members needing to renew or join the NRA can do so on our website or see Paul, membership in the NRA is a condition of membership. Membership list has been submitted to the NRA for membership status of our members. Members that are on payment plan are reminded it is your responsibility to make your minimum monthly $100 payment. Plans are being made for a club picnic in early summer.
